Task: Write a blog review or a youtube review about a brand you identify with and why?

The fashion house of Thierry Mugler is a luxury brand that produces clothing for women and men, perfume, and beauty lines. Apart from clothes, I haven’t paid much attention to other products. BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, BUT, those pieces are daring, one-of-a-kind, futuristic, edgy, and classy.

Mugler is known for his spectacular runway shows and fetishistic fashions. At the age of 24, he was labelled the “fashion mystic” by fashion reviewers. He launched his first Café de Paris collection in 1973. The pieces were bold, vibrant, and erotic, with naked breasts and legs, which were considered too revealing in that era. Later on, he began creating contemporary men’s outfits. They were brilliant colours, strong cuts, and traditional designs with a twist, in true Mugler fashion.

The Mugler brand appeals to me because of its distinct aesthetic. The designer isn’t scared to try new things. His designs have a hint of fantasy and femininity to them; they’re sultry, but they’re also unique.

Recently, he made a fashion comeback. Kim Kardashian, Cardi B, and other celebrities have worn his designs. Although his latest designs are less controversial, he remains true to his identity. Which is creating something entertaining, complicated, architectural, and sexy out of common styles and designs.
